    How to get here

Nammbu Bungalows is in the northern province of Guanacaste so if you are arriving into the Liberia Airport, you are only a couple of hours away. Take a right out of the airport and drive southwards down the Nicoya Peninsula.

When you get to the historical town of Nicoya (which is worth a walk around), you will take the road to Samara which is a popular beach town with some great restaurants and an organic market.  Keep going and Playa Carrillo is just around the corner.

If you are coming from San Jose, get onto the Route 27 and then the Pan-American Highway until you reach the turn off to go over the Friendship Bridge that will get you to the Nicoya Peninsula. Once you reach the main road that takes you north up the Peninsula, take a right until you reach Nicoya.  Take the road to Samara and then Carrillo which is the next beach down.

Our Recommendation: While on the other side of the country, it is so worth the trip! Remember that Costa Rica is pretty small and the contrast between the beautiful beaches and Guanacaste lowlands to the dense rainforest that encompasses the water canals that take you to Manatus Costa Rica. Just amazing!
