    How to get here

Getting to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest is part of the adventure and whether you go by car or plane, the views are fantastic.

Because of its secluded location on the far southern coast of Costa Rica, a short 45min plane ride that will take you down the Pacific Ocean coast to Puerto Jimenez is what we recommend.  From Puerto Jimenez, you will then take a fun boat ride on the Golfo Dulce to reach your home in the rainforest for your stay.

If you like to drive, you will work your way down the Pacific Coast road that borders the beautiful beaches and inlets to Golfito and leave your car there before hopping into the boat that will take you the rest of the way.  This is about a 4.5-hour drive

Just make sure your travel plans to and from Golfito or Puerto Jimenez are before 3pm as the boat ride is subject to water and weather conditions.

Our recommendation: After being immersed in the beauty of the rainforest that overlooks the Golfo Dulce, why not experience the Caribbean lowlands at the Ecolirios Boutique Hotel & Spa that sits just on the other side of the Brauilio Carrillo National Park. Enjoy the inland beauty of this little corner of the world and explore the adventurous side of the Costa Rican Caribbean.
