    How to get here

    Monteverde is perfect for nature lovers and lovers of close to nature adventures too! El Establo Mountain Hotel is perfectly located in the midst of it all and boasts amazing views too.

    Coming from San Jose, take Route 27 and connect with Pan-American Highway or Route 1 moving north and following the signs to Liberia.   After the turnoff to Miramar, continue forward and you will soon see signs to take a right and the journey up into the mountains begins.  This is a truly scenic route and will prepare you for when you reach the top!

    If you are coming from the north, take the Panamerican Highway towards San Jose and you will see the turnoff to the left for Monteverde.  You can`t miss it!  Keep your camera handy as you will have lots of photo opportunities as you make your way up into the clouds!
