    How to get here

    Located in the world’s best place for adventure, Tilajari is in Arenal Volcano land so pack your adventurous spirit and let`s go!

    From San Jose, pass by the airport on Route 1 or the Panamerican Highway and take the turn off to Naranjo, a little town perched a ridge. This is where you begin to work your way up into the Central Volcanic Mountain Range covered in coffee plantations and agricultural farmlands.

    You will go through the pretty little town of Zarcero with its delicious cheese and ornamental trees in the central park and then onwards to the busy city of San Carlos.

    At this point, you will look for signs to Muelle to the north and after a short drive over the northern lowlands, you will arrive at Tilajari, its beautiful gardens and sporting opportunities.

    Our Recommendation:   Do some exploring onto the Nicoya Peninsula and stay at Nammbu Bungalows that overlook the pristine Carrillo Beach.  Just south of the better known Samara Beach, Carrillo has an “off the beaten track” feel to it and Nammbu Bungalows are perfect to lounge by the pool, take a walk on the beach and just relax in eco-luxury.
