    How to get here

    This mountain lodge on the slopes of the majestic Rincon de la Vieja Volcano in Guanacaste is about a 45-minute scenic drive from the Liberia International Airport which means you can be flying in the morning and ziplining or rapelling in the afternoon!

    You will drive north to the province`s capital of Liberia and take a left to get onto the Pan-American Highway. You will turn right and work your way up into the mountains passing by the typical village of Curubande. Don`t stop there, keep going up and in a few more minutes you will be in adventure land!

    If you are coming from the south, keep on the Pan-American Highway (Route 1), pass Liberia que continue to the Curubande turnoff. And then continue your way up the volcano and you will be in Hacienda Guachipelin in no time.

    Our recommendation:   Cross over the Guanacaste Volcanic Range and spend some time at Tilajari Hotel Resort and continue your adventure with the sleepy yet very present Arenal Volcano in the distance.  You can also relax which could be a good idea after a stay at Hacienda Guachipelin
